Ashley joined the sight reading this year. She got the second place award. Eight kids in a group. They read notes for 6 minutes and then start play one by one. None one can listen to others before finished theirs.
   

   
 
玥玥一岁半了，象姐姐小时侯一样喜欢吊单杠。

妈妈给玥玥买了个充气的小泳池。今天天热，我们在后院装起了泳池充上了水。玥玥第一次和姐姐一起游水。

果果暑假读了太多书，读完了Harry Potter的七本，视力开始下降，看东西会眯眼了。检查视力发现近视度数100-150。我们决定给果果配戴Ortho-k视力校正镜片。硬质的隐形镜片是晚上睡觉前戴上，校正眼球，早上摘除。白天视力会改善不需要带眼镜。果果佩戴后效果很好。一天后去检查，视力完全恢复正常达到20/20。唯一的困难在于眼镜很难戴上。果果对于眼前的东西会不停的眨眼，而且不能睁大眼睛。每天晚上我们都要花费一个小时尝试，偶尔能戴上两支，多数时候是徒劳无功。好在果果能过坚持不懈，每天尝试。

Maggie已经两个半月了，在阿姨的精心照料下，长得很好。现在已经11 lbs 2 ounce了，
看起来非常的健康快乐。
今天，果果和妈妈一起给宝宝换了diaper，这是果果第一次做，她学得很快，对妹
妹很照顾。这件事有一点点挑战，但又在可控范围内，果果应该觉得很有趣。我很
高兴她们的互动。
宝宝晚上大哭，不知发生了什么事。她鼻子堵住了，很不开心。终于阿姨回来，我
们大家都松了口气，宝宝在阿姨的照顾下，情绪渐渐平静，一切又恢复正常。

2014年8月8号下午1点13分，果果的妹妹Maggie在O’Connor医院出生，重6lbs 2ounce，
身长18inch，是一个健康漂亮的小宝宝。

今天，在饱餐一顿之后，宝宝和爸爸互动。她眼睛亮亮地盯著爸爸，咿咿呀呀和爸
爸说了很多话，两人你一言我一语，好像很是那么回事，着实有趣。

宝宝一天天长大，妈妈可以安心回去上班了。

Ashely came back from her 3 nights 4 days urban camping. She had a great time with dad and other kids.Her favorite outside activities are roasting mashmellow, climbing sand, watching firework on cruise, and playing with Emily. She also watched movie Frozen, finished reading Harry Potter III, and wrote her Chinese homework in the tent. She behaved very well and helped Dad caught up all events.

Today, Ashley came back home, she bring mommy a very good present, some collected rocks and a letter she wrote down in the day of July 4th. I’m so so happy for this.

I hope you’re not lonely. I had lots of fun in camp, I saw everyone from the party. There was already lots of fun activities. I saw my friends. It’s very cold out here. I hope you are well.

We bought a mini rose from store, very cheap $2.5, pink color; Ashley and I took care of it carefully this time, watering it in the morning and in the evening, put it under the shadow of backyard during daytime. It blossom very well this time, it’s so pretty. Although I often remind Ashley go take care of it, Ashley keeps her responsibity well.

we enjoyed our mini rose very well.

果果开始读Harry Potter，三天就看完了第一本。这几乎是给她打开了另一扇神奇的大门，她非常的enjoy，非常的投入，好像也不是太害怕，至少是精彩的情节hold住她坚持读完。
今天，又让她看了相应的电影。她也很开心。决定一周以后再让她看第二册，看她的接受程度。担心她害怕，让大人陪她睡了一晚上，她自己睡得象小死猪一样。

Ashley got three awards in this year’s challenger school merit assembly. She got first place in math contest, award for exceptional academic performance and $800 scholarship for academic achievement and good comportment. She got over 90 points for all her courses in second grade, and got perfect score in IOWA test. The most important one is the scholarship. To win the scholarship, students must get very high score in IOWA test while competing with private school students all over the country. There are 10 students win this award this year in second grade. Ashley won the scholarship three times, every year since she join the Berryessa Challenger school.
